A strenuous and stimulating nine-day course that studies historic houses and their collections. Based in specific regions of Britain and occasionally abroad, students, accompanied by tutors, visit a wide range of houses, many of them private.
THE ATTINGHAM SUMMER SCHOOL
July 6-23, 2012

ROYAL COLLECTION STUDIES
September 2-11, 2012
A rigorous ten-day program, operated on behalf of the Royal Collection Trust, that studies the palaces, patronage, and art collection of the kings and queens of Britain from the Middle Ages onward.
Traditionally participants come from a large applicant pool representing the fields of architecture, history, and conservation, or with close ties to the fine and decorative arts. Scholarship assistance is available to those in need.
